Bruce Belden was a Lieutenant in the CPD Violent Crimes Unit. He was portrayed by Kurt Naebig.
Biography[]
Season 1[]
Lt. Belden withheld vital information from the Intelligence team, leading Detectives Willhite and Dawson to walk into a trap, which killed Willhite as a result.
Upon returning to the 21st prescient, Sergeant Hank Voight attacked Belden, blaming him for her death and forcing the other officers in the vicinity to physically restrain both men and separate them.
Belden was later murdered during Pulpo's escape from police custody, dying from injuries sustained when he and two unnamed police officers as well as Detective Antonio Dawson were shot by Pulpo who had secretly received a weapon from his girlfriend, Antonio being the only survivor of the attack.
When apprehended, Pulpo was charged for the murders.
