Alvin and Kevin arrive to the house where they find Miles, Noah Johnson's uncle confronting Jordan armed with a gun. Miles is insistent on getting revenge on the pleading Jordan while Alvin and Kevin do their best to talk Miles down, stating that his nephew would not want this. Soon they are successful and Alvin is given the gun. Kevin arrests and takes Jordan out, as Miles surrenders to the cops. Knowing that he was trying to do right by his family, Alvin tells the surprised young man to leave. When Miles tries to run out the front, Alvin stops him and tells him to go out the back so no one would think he was involved and he does so quickly.

Jordan is taken into interrogation, where asks if it was true that they had the wrong target, but Antonio says it doesn't matter, since Jordan had shot a 6-year-old boy in the face. After Jordan shows no apparent remorse for it, declaring he wanted to defend his sister and asks Antonio what he would if it was his sister, as the latter suffers a breakdown. Antonio says that even though he would go crazy, but he wouldn't shoot a child that young 3 times while condemning him for ending an innocent kid's life. His outburst makes Jay and Hank have to take him out of the room. Jordan informs Hank that Antonio is incorrect and reveals that he was his younger brother who killed Noah. Hank realizes Jordan is telling him this because his brother is a minor, that he cannot be charged.

Afterwards Kevin updates Johnson family of how they got the suspect. Noah's mother shows up and proceeds to mourn with Brian.

Antonio returns home where he bonds with his son apologizing for his earlier behavior and missing his birthday while Diego understands. Antonio asks Diego to come with him to an event for the night.

That night, a vigil is held for Noah Johnson by the Johnson family and most of the Chicago community in attendance.
